Parish Mission Statement

"We believe ..."

Opening words of The Apostles' Creed

The mission of the people of

The Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception parish

is to worship God in word and sacrament

and to use our gifts to carry out the mission of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission is based on the following values:

Loving God and Neighbor
through support of parish activities and community groups;

Developing Personal and Community Conversion
throughout our lifetime.

Teaching Parishioners of All Ages
the Gospel message handed down to us from the apostles,

Reaching Out
to invite others to share the Gospel of Jesus; and

Taking Personal Responsibility for Stewardship
of our Parish’s resources by contributing time, talent and treasure and communicating openly and honestly about our parish’s needs and assets.
